Alison Eastwood (born on May 22, 1972, in Carmel, California) is an American film director, Hollywood actress, fashion model, and fashion designer.
The daughter of swimsuit model Maggie Johnson and movie star and film director Clint Eastwood (and younger sister to Kyle Eastwood), she attended Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California and Stevenson School in Pebble Beach. When she was eighteen, in 1990, Eastwood moved to Santa Barbara to study acting at the University of California.
Eastwood was a rebellious teenager. In addition to defying her parents and being arrested for drunk driving, Eastwood landed some professional acting roles during her childhood and preadolescent years. She made her film debut at age seven in Bronco Billy. Her acting in the 1984 movie Tightrope won her some degree of recognition as an actress. She continued her rebellious ways with a brief elopement with and subsequent divorce from actor and comic Kirk Fox. She has also worked as a runway and magazine model in Paris, posing for several European fashion magazines and Vogue (U.S. edition). Eastwood graced the cover of the February 2003 issue of Playboy and also posed for a nude pictorial.
More recently, Eastwood has again appeared on screen. Credits include the movie Absolute Power (1997), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997), Black and White (1998), Breakfast of Champions (1999), Poolhall Junkies (2003), and I'll Be Seeing You (2004).
Eastwood has also moved into working behind the camera. She was an associate producer for Don't Tell in 2005, and directed her first movie, Rails & Ties, in 2007.
She has her own clothing line, called the Eastwood Ranch.
